From finished cut to captioned video in a minute.

No exporting to another app, no re-importing, no MOGRTs to wrangle. Everything happens in a panel inside Premiere.

  1. Transcribe

Use Premiere's built-in transcription on your talking clips — the same one you already know.

  2. Get words from timeline

The panel reads every clip's transcript and lines the words up with your cuts, trims and speed changes.

  3. Pick a look

Choose words on screen, a style and an animation. Tweak fonts, colours and position as much as you like.

  4. Add to sequence

A caption layer lands on a new top track. Every change shows up in the Program monitor straight away.

Built for editors who publish every week.

Fast enough for daily social content, precise enough for long-form client work.

Real-time on the GPU

Captions are drawn by a native Metal effect, so playback stays smooth — no rendering previews just to check timing.

Follows your edit

Captions track sequence time, not the layer, so you can trim, cut and move freely. Re-cut the video and your corrections carry over.

Fix anything, keep the timing

Correct a word, delete a caption, split or merge, nudge in 10 ms steps. Fifty levels of undo, and deleted lines can be restored.

Any font you own

Every installed font and weight, with outline, shadow, line or block backgrounds, letter spacing and tilt. Emoji too.

Looks you can save

Start from built-in styles — Bold Pop, Hormozi, Highlight Box, Karaoke, Clean and more — then save your own for each client.

Any size, any format

Sizes scale with the sequence, so 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9 — and 4K — look the same. Export an .srt for platform closed captions.

Every control you'd expect.

All in one panel, all live.

Questions

Do I need to transcribe somewhere else first?

No. The plugin uses Premiere's own transcript (Text panel → Transcribe). It runs on your Mac, so there are no upload or per-minute costs. You can also load a transcript file exported from Premiere's Text panel.

What happens if I re-cut the video after captioning?

Press Get words from timeline again. Your look is kept, and text corrections, splits, merges and deletions are re-applied wherever they match the same source words. Anything that can't be matched safely is listed for you to review, never guessed.

Will it slow down playback?

Captions are drawn by a native effect and composited on the GPU with Metal, and each caption is only redrawn when it changes. Playback stays real-time on typical social timelines.

Can I trim or move the caption layer?

Yes. Captions follow the sequence's time, not the layer's, so you can cut, trim and move the layer without the captions drifting.

Does bleeping swear words also bleep the audio?

No — it censors the caption text only. Your audio is untouched.

Is there a Windows version?

Not yet. The plugin is Mac-only for now, on both Apple Silicon and Intel.

How do I uninstall?

Quit Premiere and run the included Uninstall effect package, then remove the panel in Creative Cloud Desktop → Plugins → Manage plugins. Your saved captions and looks are left in place.
